AeroVironment, Ondas , and more U.S. drone stocks took flight Friday after President Donald Trump announced tariffs of as much as 100% on imported drones and components as the White House looks to mitigate potential national security risks.

Dronemaker AeroVironment reported fourth-quarter earnings that beat on the top and bottom lines.

AeroVironment will buy space and defense engineering company BlueHalo in an all-stock deal valued at about $4.1 billion, the companies said on Tuesday, as the drone maker seeks to broaden its portfolio amid rising geopolitical tensions.
