A KKR-led group on Thursday launched a new company with more than $10 billion in committed capital to finance ​the build-out of AI infrastructure, the latest effort ‌by an alternative asset manager to capitalize on growing demand for AI services.

KKR & Co. Inc. on Tuesday reported first quarter adjusted earnings per share of $1.39, beating analyst estimates of $1.34 by $0.05, as the alternative asset manager posted approximately 20% YoY growth across key earnings metrics.

Assura said on Monday that it would consider a 1.61 billion pound ($2.1 billion) offer from U.S. private equity group KKR and Stonepeak Partners, pushing shares of the British healthcare real estate investment trust up 14%.

KKR and Walmart have agreed to sell Seiyu for about $2.5 billion, ending foreign ownership of one of Japan’s most well-known supermarket operators.

KKR said it has put forward a non-binding proposal offer to buy Assura, which values the London-Listed property business at 1.56 billion pounds ($1.97 billion).

Robinhood has agreed to pay fines of $45mn to cover data breach and record-keeping failures — one of a series of penalties levied by US regulators on Monday against financial groups, including units of Blackstone and KKR.

S&P Dow Jones Indices announced on Friday that CrowdStrike (NASDAQ:CRWD) will join the S&P 500 index on June 21, following the stock’s recent GAAP profitability.
