July 20 (Reuters) – PPG Industries (PPG.N) raised its full-year profit forecast on Thursday after beating second-quarter profit estimates as strong prices helped the industrial coatings maker offset lower demand.

NET PROFIT FORECAST: The Irish low cost carrier is expected to report a net profit rise for the quarter ended June 30, with net profit consensus of 506.2 million euros ($563.4 million), according to FactSet and based on three analysts’ estimates. The company reported a net profit of EUR187.5 million in the same period last year.

PARIS, July 21 (Reuters) – France’s Thales (TCFP.PA) upgraded its full-year revenue forecast after posting faster-than-expected growth for the first half on Friday, buoyed by a recovery in civil aerospace and growth in its digital identity and security business.
