Ranpak Holdings Corp. (NYSE:PACK) stock surged 16% after the sustainable packaging automation company announced a major expansion of its existing relationship with Walmart (NYSE:WMT).

Shares of Dublin-based packaging group Smurfit Kappa plunged 10% at Tuesday’s market open in London after it announced it would combine with U.S. peer WestRock to create an industry juggernaut.

WestRock is in merger talks with Ireland’s Smurfit Kappa that could potentially create a paper and packaging company worth about $20 billion.
