A Fitch Ratings analyst warned that the U.S. banking industry has inched closer to another source of turbulence — the risk of sweeping rating downgrades on dozens of U.S. banks that could even include the likes of JPMorgan Chase.

The consumer price index rose 3.2% from a year ago in July, a sign that inflation has lost at least some of its grip on the U.S. economy.

The Japan PPI data for July – a.k.a. goods price index, or the price firms charge each other for products – is showing:

PPI MoM 0.1% versus 0.2% expected.
PPI YoY 3.6% versus 3.5% expected. Prior month 4.1% This is the lowest since April 2021.

Καμία απολύτως σκέψη για έκτακτο φόρο στις τράπεζες και η κυβέρνηση δεν ασχολείται με τέτοια ζητήματα τη στιγμή που εκκινεί η διαδικασία αποκρατικοποίησης των τραπεζών, σχολιάζουν με νόημα κορυφαίες πηγές τόσο κοντά στον πρωθυπουργό, όσο και στο υπουργείο Οικονομικών, στον αρμόδιο υπουργό κ.
